Laurie Heapes

MS, PT

Laurie Heapes, MS, PT joined our staff in June of 2017. She graduated from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY in 1993 and currently has 25 years' experience primarily in Orthopedics.

She began her career at the Hospital for Joint Diseases (now NYU Langone Orthopedic Health) in July 1993 and she continues to work there on a part time basis in their Medical Surgery/Acute Care setting on weekends.

Laurie has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since graduating D'Youville College and continues to take advantage of their numerous continuing education courses.

She is in involved with her children's swimming and basketball teams, coaching and acting as the team mom. She is a gym enthusiast who has run five half marathons and several Tunnels to Towers Runs.
