Kaitlin Kirker

Kaitlin Kirker, PT, DPT, DSc, OCS, FAAOMPT graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University, and Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College. Dr. Kirker is an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy. She is also the Coordinator of the Doctoral Research Capstone Project, which includes a joint student-faculty systematic/scoping review. Dr. Kirker practices orthopedic manual physical therapy part-time at Masefield and Cavallaro Physical Therapy. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Specialization Council and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

Dr. Kirker has published 19 peer-reviewed articles, and has had seven posters accepted for presentation at national conferences focusing on the rehabilitation of orthopedic pathologies. Dr. Kirker has also served as Chair of both the Nominating and Program Committees for APTA New York, and has been a delegate to the APTA New York Delegate Assembly since 2017.

As a board-certified orthopedic specialist and fellow-trained therapist, she brings a structured, evidence-based approach to treatment. She has contributed to multiple research publications and continues to advance her expertise through ongoing study and teaching.
